The Pool Café HathersageLocated next to Hathersage open-air swimming pool opposite the car park on Old Fellows Road, 5 mins walk from Hathersage train station.
A very friendly café open 8am 7 days a week (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day). Everyone welcome including walking groups, cyclists and climbers.
The café boasts a large inside seating area with an outside patio.
The menu is varied and does an all day breakfast, home made soup and cakes and scones. There are also vegetarian options available. Daily papers are provided so you can catch up on the news while your food is cooking.
From here you have some nice routes to go at. Back into Sheffield via Scotsmans Pack pub is a challenge. Straight up the surprise or Ringinglow. Heading out into the Peaks you have a top climb up to the gliding club past Abney will a left at the top onto the ridge past the Barrel pub for one of the best views in the area.Cash machines can be found on Hathersage main road along with a few outdoor pursuit shops.
